Build the capability, earn the credential
The mark an AI Level 2 Certified individual may display. IEU names and logos may be used only as expressly permitted in writing by us: see the Terms.
Guided training that turns the assessment's findings into practice. Complete the modules and the comprehensive exam to earn an AI Level 2 Certification that certifies you have the necessary knowledge to use AI ethically and responsibly.
- Interactive modules with a comprehensive final exam
- Certificate valid for one year, then renewable yearly at C$1,750, the same as the initial certification.
- While your certificate is valid, any employer or client can verify it in the public registry; when it lapses, the entry is removed, so a listing always shows current standing.
- Display the AI Level 2 Certification mark: certified individuals download theirs from their IEU account while the certificate is valid.

What is ours, and what is not. These frameworks are published by others and we teach them as they stand. What IEU contributes is the training that puts them to work: the applied workplace scenarios, the assessment, the certification, and our own analysis mapping the FASTER principles onto the OECD AI Principles, which you can check line by line inside the course.
Teaching or certifying against a published framework is not endorsement, certification, affiliation, or approval by its author or by any regulator. Completing IEU training does not certify an organization against ISO/IEC 42001 or establish compliance with the EU AI Act.

AI Level 3 Certification
Certification that your company uses AI ethically
C$5,000 to C$7,500, quoted by company size
C$5,000 for companies under 10 people, C$7,500 at 10 people or more. Invoiced, not an online purchase.
Independent, human-led assurance
The mark an AI Level 3 Certified company may display. IEU names and logos may be used only as expressly permitted in writing by us: see the Terms.
A human-led audit of your organization's applied AI governance, certified by our team. The AI Level 3 Certification certifies that you are a company that uses AI ethically.
- Independent review by IEU practitioners
- Certification is issued only once the company has at least one currently-valid AI Level 2 Certified individual.
- Assesses your policies, procedures and implementation against a published standard of seven requirements.
- Results in a company-level certificate on completion
- While the certification is valid, any client or partner can verify it in the public registry; when it lapses, the entry is removed, so a listing always shows current standing.
- Certified companies may display the AI Level 3 Certification mark on their documents.

Validity & renewal
Certification is kept current, by design.
A credential means little if it never lapses. Ours is time-bound and renewable, so a listing in the registry always reflects a current commitment.
One-year validity
Certificates are valid for one year. On expiry a certificate moves to an expired state and is removed from the public registry.
Renewing AI Level 2 Certification
The same certified individual renews annually, by being tested on the latest developments in the ethical use of AI. Renewal costs C$1,750 a year, the same as the initial certification. A different person at the company completes the full training to be certified in their own right.
AI Level 3 Certification eligibility
There is no prerequisite for beginning an AI Level 3 Certification engagement. Certification is issued only once the company has at least one currently-valid AI Level 2 Certified individual.
Renewing AI Level 3 Certification
AI Level 3 Certification renewal requires an annual audit, confirming the organization is up to the latest standards for the ethical use of AI.
